Simple Baked Peach Halves
First I should say that my husband made this dessert… so you know it’s simple! Ohhh, I kid! It is really easy to prepare though and is beyond delicious. It’s healthy, but it sure tastes sinful. I added a big scoop of sugar free ice cream and I was in total heaven! The best part? The juices that are left in the bottom of the dish. You better spoon that yummy goodness out because it is awesome!
Ingredients:
- 1 peach, cut in half
- Brown sugar
- Butter
Let me say that I have been eating very healthy lately, so I went super easy on the butter and brown sugar (2 teaspoons brown sugar and a teaspoon of butter), but you could add as much as you want! I do recommend that you use at least the amount I did to get the full effect of the yummy juices that it leaves in the bottom of your baking dish.
Preheat your oven to 375 and lightly grease the bottom of a baking dish. We used a little loaf pan since we made 2 peaches. Place your peaches in your pan and put the butter in the hollow of each half. Top with the brown sugar and bake for about 30 minutes. The brown sugar should start turning dark and your peaches should be soft.
These peaches are heavenly! My husband made them for us after dinner because I was so busy reading – my classes are overwhelming. But I really hope you give this dessert a try, it’s soooo simple and delicious! Just don’t forget to pour the gooey goodness left at the bottom of the pan over your peaches… and totally try em with ice cream, it’s great!

This looks really good, and I’m going to try this. So simple, too! I love peaches.
You so have to try it then! Even you couldn’t mess it up
Really though, I think I said it like 982374923 times, but that gooey goodness left in the dish after they are done baking… OMG. It’s like the best thing ever.
